One of Belgrade's coolest modern bars, Iguana regularly cited as one of the top design bars in town - now occupies a new space in the ß-Concrete Hallß-. It's more spacious than it used to be and the new spot boasts glorious views out over the River Sava. It's a chic, minimalist space, all whites and greys, sleek and pared down, the antithesis of the colourful but cluttered and rustic traditional bars of Skadarlija, which increasingly seem to be targeting tourists. There are chrome light fittings and a long bar counter at which you can perch. There's a menu of well-prepared Asian-influenced dishes and an excellent range of international wine, some cocktails too. Live music is a big draw and there are regular jazz nights and a small stage area in one corner, making for a place that's popular with tourists as well as a stylish young local crowd. There's a terrace area for al fresco sipping, soaking up the river views and enjoying a bit of respite from the fug of cigarette smoke inside. Prices are a little high by Belgrade standards but still good value.
