One of a cluster of hip, modern bars in the Beton Hala space, Toro is a stylish, minimalist venue, spread over two levels. Inside, you'll find an expanse of bright white brick splashed with patches of green and yellow. There are cool sofas and chandeliers to off-set all that gleaming white. The top floor is a little more intimate than the downstairs space but both have an appealing atmosphere. Brought to Belgrade by Richard Sandoval, and part of an international chain with branches in Las Vegas and Qatar amongst others, the bar and restaurant offers a menu of small plates with Latin American flavours. The food is zingy, fresh and contemporary, there's a good range of beers available as well as plenty of wines and spirits from around the world. The atmosphere is urban and contemporary, the crowd stylish; there's music most nights with DJs playing until late, a party atmosphere kicking in, and the bar staying open until 2am. Prices are a little high by the standards of the city but not excessively so.
