What their peers say
"I have spent many glorious weekends in Paris, a city more noted for its restaurants than its bars, and despite it being something of a tourist trap I always seem to wind up at Harrys. Sure the drinks are no where near as well executed as those at the Curio Parlour, and the bartenders are not as welcoming as the charming gents at The Prescription Cocktail Club, and really the atmosphere is somewhat flat when compared to, say, The Experimental Cocktail Club. In fact all three of those venues are better run that Harry’s. But I come to Harry’s. I don’t really know why. Which hopefully tells you as much about the place as you really need to know." - Jake Burger of Portobello Star and Ginstitute, London Read More
"Opened in 1911, Harry’s is the ultimate destination for homesick Americans and people who love them. The decor - classic 1930s fraternity house - has been well-preserved, the drinks are not cheap but they are excellent, as are the hot dogs at the bar. Squeeze into the place around 5pm and you may end up staying until 3 or 4am, and leave knowing half the bar and a few bawdy French songs." Anistatia Miller and Jared Brown of Mixellany Ltd.
