    Originally made at New York's Milk & Honey back in 2003. This recipe is also featured in the famous PDT Cocktail Book. It's a perfect summer cocktail and a good alternative to the more acclaimed Gin or Vodka cocktails.


    • 2 ounces Powers Gold Label
    • 0.75 ounces Honey Syrup
    • 0.75 ounces Lemon Juice
    • 7 units Ice Cubes
    • 1 unit Lemon peel

    how to mix a Gold Rush

    • Start with a chill glass • Add Powers, honey syrup* & lemon juice to a shaker • Add ice and shake • Double strain and pour over ice • Garnish with a lemon twist *honey syrup is a substitute to simple syrup. 1:1 honey to water
